Design consultation, project management, and inspection for the multiphase replacement/refurbishment of four (4) Solar Centaur 30 recuperated type turbines with Solar Centaur 40 simple cycle and SoloNox turbines. Refurbishment included control system upgrades from relay logic to programmable logic control for five (5) turbines and new exhaust and ventilation systems required for four (4) turbines. Project involves two (2) compressor stations in the Stingray gas transmission pipeline system. Simple-cycle T4500 turbine conversion (phase 1) at WC 509 platform completed 4th quarter 2003. SoloNox T4700 turbine conversion (phase 2) at Johnson Bayou, LA compressor station completed 1st quarter 2005.
