These projects were part of the major expansions to the Discovery system with Williams’ Tahiti pipeline project for Chevron’s Tahiti discovery in the central region; and installation of export oil and gas pipelines for Chevron’s Blind Faith discovery in the eastern region in Mississippi Canyon blocks 695 and 696.
Project Management Scope of Work:
- RCI provided the Project Manager and Technical Advisors who were assigned to the Williams team for the duration of the project and assigned management duties related to the aspects of the scope of work outlined below.
- Permitting
- Procurement of pipe and pipeline components
- Pipeline installation
- Pipeline hydrotest and dewatering
- Tie-in jumper SIT, metrology and installation
- Pipeline commissioning
- Interface with Chevron during Integrated project tasks
- Invoice Review
- Final project documentation/Data packages
Inspection Scope of Work:
- RCI provided Inspection Services for the multiple phases of the project.
- Pipeline pipe coating
- Oil States connectors
- Sled fabrication and FAT
- Valve manufacturing and FAT
- Pipeline installation
- Jumper installation
Inspection Scope of Work:
- LACT skid fabrications FAT
- PLEM/PLET/ILS fabrication and FAT
- SIT for jumpers and Sleds
- Valve manufacturing and FAT
